Subject: xdvik problem
Content-Length: 0
Hello Everyone - I am running xdvik-18d on a Sun Sparcstation 5. My
OS is Solaris 2.4, and I am using the Motif window manager. When I
start xdvi without a filename on the command line, it prompts me for
a file, and after I select one, it builds the fonts it needs and then
crashes with the following message:
X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 18 (X_ChangeProperty)
Resource id in failed request: 0x0
Serial number of failed request: 295
Current serial number in output stream: 297
It works flawlessly if I give the filename on the command line.
Any Ideas?
Everett Lipman (lipman@isi9.ssl.berkeley.edu)
p.s. My xdvik was compiled with gcc 2.6.2.
